SCIFUN- VISIT 1
Sci-Fun is an activity based program which was launched in 2011 aiming to enhance the knowledge of the students through hands on activities in which complex concepts are made simple. The program is sponsored by Department of Science, Technology and Environment. This program is inspired by the works of Shri Arvind Gupta and is planned and organised by Dr. Anna Neena George.In the program we show interesting demonstrations making difficult concepts easy to understand.
Sci-Fun team gave visit to Dada vaidya High School, curti-Goa on 1st February 2020. The Sci-Fun program was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Anna Neena George. Simple experiments using handy materials with science hidden behind them were performed to develop curiosity among students. Students were given chance to perform the demonstrations, which aroused their interest. Exhibition of mangrove species from Divar island, bird's nests, terrarium and different types of roots were also included in the program.
